Nature’s handiwork: Not one thing in or around that bed was planted by me.

I’ve started a new Substack called TALES FROM A HALF WILD GARDEN, and I’m feeling really inspired about it.

Although it will view life and the natural world through deeply spiritual eyes—because, well, I’m still me, no matter what I’m writing about—it’ll mostly be about living more lightly and respectfully on the land.

It will follow our somewhat stumbly attempts to go semi, and then (hopefully) entirely off-grid; our progress with growing and preserving food, and our swoony love affair with the piece of land that gives the newsletter its title.

Learning to coexist in partnership with Nature…learning to see and respect the conscious intelligence in all of life: This is a big part of how we’ll all be living, in the newly arriving world made of love.

I hope to gently, non-preachingly and non-teachingly point the way.

I’ve created this as a completely separate newsletter (*with a separate subscription*) because I do get it. I recognize not everyone is interested in these subjects.

But if you’d like to subscribe, I’d love to have you along for the unfolding journey of it all.
